Toy Startup “Build & Imagine” makes Amazon’s Hot Holiday Toy List

Amazon released their 2016 “Hot Holiday Toy List” featuring the hottest new toys and games for Christmas. Nestled in between well-known brands like Lego and Shopkins is newcomer Build & Imagine. Their Malia’s House, the magnetic dollhouse you design yourself, made the list that represents as much as 20% of Amazon’s annual toy revenue.

Malia’s House is all the fun of a dollhouse with the enrichment of a building set. You can build it any way you like by joining illustrated shapes magnetically. Then decorate the house and invent new stories with magnetic accessories that stick to the floors, walls, and wooden dress-up dolls. The rich illustrations and modular pieced make it easy to change things up and create a whole new adventure. Malia’s House was selected by Amazon’s editors to be featured in the “craft & create” section of their toy list.

Malia’s House is the winner of Dr. Toy’s Best Classic Award, Parents’ Choice Gold Award, The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, and PAL’s Top Ten Toys of 2014.

This is SUCH a great idea… a dollhouse that you can build different EVERY single time! It has plenty of walls and interesting decorations to keep more than one girl busy for hours… and plenty of “fun” clothes and decorations to add to make believe play—mommy me mommy

This is just the best thing to come along for girls in a long time in the play house category! My daughter who is eight has played with this more than I would have ever thought possible. She just loves it. —Maria

The Malia House is such I hit I would rank it at the top of my list of gifts for young girls. The 5 year old I gave it to loves hers and has played with it every day since unboxing.—Misty
